MY PITCH ON THE UPPER BACK ARCH

WHEN IT COMES TO DEVELOPING A GREAT PHYSIQUE, BUILDING THE UPPER BACK POSITIONING HAS BEEN ONE OF THE KEY COMPONENTS IN MY ARSENAL. DURING MY COMPETITIVE CAREER, THIS MECHANICALLY SOUND POSITION KEPT ME INJURY FREE. IT’S THE MANDATORY BODY POSITION THAT SHOULD BE MAINTAINED IN ALL EXERCISES. TO NAME A FEW: PRESSES, SQUATS, CURLS, DEADS. IT’S WHAT BUILDS A SHELF TO YOUR CHEST AND DISSIPATES THE STRESS LOAD EVENLY OVER THE SPINE.

THAT’S HOW ARNOLD HAD ONE OF THE GREATEST SIDE CHEST SHOTS IN THE BUSINESS. HE WORKED HARD ON HIS UPPER BACK ARCH, ALONG WITH HIS VISION, DESIRE AND PASSION. HIS USE OF EXCELLENT FORM AND TECHNIQUE TOGETHER WITH THE UPPER BACK ARCH WHEN IT CAME TO EXECUTING EXERCISE MOVEMENTS GRANTED HIM HIS SUCCESS. YOU NEVER SAW HIM THROWING WEIGHT AROUND. HE CONTROLLED THE UP AND DOWN ACTION.

YOU CAN’T DEVELOP THAT KIND OF MUSCLE
WITHOUT ALL THE PARTS IN PLACE.
PEACE, ROBBY
